International Academy of Neutron Science (IANS) is a public institution subordinate to the government. As an important research unit of FDS Consortium, IANS focuses on the fundamental research of neutron transport theory, neutron source and experiment technology, and the neutron application research on advanced nuclear energy and safety, radiation medicine and radiotherapy, aerospace, industrial nondestructive testing, oil and gas logging, etc.
